To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Pearl! Pearl came to ARWOB along with 8 other poodle mix dogs. The dogs were relinquished in Tijuana and we stepped in to rescue the entire group.

Here is what Pearl's foster mom has to say about her: “Pearl is a the sweetest, prettiest fur pal with nothing but love to give! Looking for constant cuddles and kisses? Pearl’s your girl. If dog’s had a theme song hers would be “Me and My Shadow” because she will follow you anywhere. Pearl gets along with other dogs and cats, but she would be just fine alone with you as the center of her world. This adoring, Muppet-faced baby is house trained, and a non-barker. She likes to run and play, but mostly she just wants to be held in your arms and heart.”
