Cece was adopted in July 2023 and we received this fantastic "pupdate" from her adoptive dad:
"Thank you for reaching out! Cece is doing AMAZING. She’s been such a joy for my partner, Crystal, and I. When we first met Cece, we knew pretty quickly that she would be a foster fail. The last 2 months have gone by so fast — lots of ups and downs, but doing great overall. We started dog training classes a couple weeks ago and she is learning basic commands and tricks very fast. In fact, she’s usually the instructor’s go-to dog for demonstrating examples in our group class because she’s smart and catches on so quickly. She is also very food-motivated and people-pleasing. She has high energy and loves making doggy friends during her adventures to the park and beach. At home, Cece is the biggest clinger, and truly wants to be held 24/7. She LOVES meeting new people and instantly wins over any of our friends or family who comes to visit. We're very excited for this upcoming journey with her!"
One of our favorite things is when a repeat adopter comes back to ARWOB when they are ready to adopt a new furry friend. We recently receive a “pupdate” about Peaches (fka Curry) who was adopted in April 2023. She joined a loving family that also adopted ARWOB alumni Buddy in May 2022 and Coco Puff in December 2019. It sure sounds like Peaches fits in perfectly with the happy little family! Her adoptive mom has told us that Peaches is enrolled in puppy classes. She is coming out of her shell and they are working on her shyness. Peaches loves to cuddle and play with their two other ARWOB alumni pups! They are a happy trio!
Coco Puff was adopted in December 2019 and since that time, her adoring family added 2 more ARWOB pups to the household, including Buddy (adopted May 2022) and most recently Peaches (fka Curry) who was adopted in April 2023. Their adoptive mom share this cute photo of the trio.
Coco and Dixie (fka Bunny) were adopted together in April 2023. We received this wonderful "pupdate" from their adoptive mom:
"Coco and Bunny are doing great. They are thriving and growing. We have renamed Bunny to Dixie and she is 15 pounds, Coco is 13 pounds. They are super active and love to play with each other as well as chew on all their different chew toys. They will begin puppy training this Tuesday! Looking forward to working with them. We are working on routines as well so they know and for puppies they are doing well. The family is all in love with them and they love to snuggle with them!"
Sweet Cilantro was adopted in March 2023. We received some adorable photos and a wonderful "pupdate" from his adoptive mom. Here is what she had to say about him:
"Cilantro has been doing well. He has grown so much since we adopted him. He has learned tricks, such as sit, down, stay, stand, high five and so on. We also started going to weekly puppy training a couple of weeks ago and he shines in the class. He goes to the bay a couple of times every week to play. This week, he played with bay water for the first time and enjoyed it. We are so lucky and happy to have him in the family and he has brought so many laughters and smile to us. Thank you again for checking in!"
