To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Patricia! Patricia came to ARWOB along with 8 other poodle mix dogs. The dogs were relinquished in Tijuana and ARWOB stepped in to rescue the entire group.

Here is what Patricia’s foster mom has to say about her: “Patricia is a clever, slightly shy, mischievous and very loving girl. She is endlessly curious and a very quick learner. Want a dog to bring you your slippers? Give her a day or two and she’ll have it figured out. She has the intelligence and patience of the whippet breed with the joy that comes from her Chihuahua roots. Patricia is playful and loves collecting toys and “babies” in her bed. Her best dog buddy is Patrick. They sleep and play together and would make a great pair for the right family. Patricia is house trained, learning how to walk on a leash, and does well with cats. Any home would be lucky to have her.”
