Spencer (fka Stitch) was adopted in March 2024. He is enjoying his best life with his new family and even has an older canine brother to enjoy his days with! Here is what his adoptive mom has to say about him:
"Spencer loves our home and our older dog, Beau. We keep him busy with new places to walk and hike. He has been enrolled in a group obedience class for Awesome Adolescents at the Humane Society and he knows all of his basic commands. He has very polite leash walking skills. He definitely has some fears with new people and we are doing our best to socialize him with positive experiences. He is great at the vet, taking showers, getting nails trimmed, massages, etc. Our older dog has bi-monthly chiropractic treatments and Spencer always comes along and gets touched everywhere by the chiropractor. He has gotten much taller but we think he will be on the smaller size (maybe 35 lbs) which is the perfect size for us. Thank you for checking in and thank you for all you do for animals."
Dewey was adopted from ARWOB in February 2024. He joined a lovely family that adopted Dante (fka Dominic) from ARWOB in March 2020. These boys are best buds and they are enjoying life together! We absolutely LOVE repeat adopters and success stories like this. Here is what their adoptive dad had to say:
"Dewey is doing great! He’s a happy little guy with a lot of energy! He’s picking up on basic commands pretty quickly. He and Dante play the majority of the day. We just love the both of them."
Ash (fka Borneo) was adopted in March 2024. He joined an amazing family that has adopted from ARWOB in the past. We ADORE repeat adopters! He loves his older fur sister Roxy (fka Jenny) who was adopted from ARWOB in September 2014. He is also best buds with his human brother Jax! Here is what his adoptive mom has to say about him:
"Borneo is doing great! He goes by Ash now and loves playing with his older fur sister Roxy (another ARWOB alum) and his human brother Jax. We didn't do any formal training with him, but we have been working on a lot of socialization and manners with him. He is very good at sitting for a treat in just about any situation. He is a super goofy boy and an expert at finding all the comfy sleeping spots."
Tommy was adopted in February 2024. We reached out to his adoptive mom to see how he is doing and she told us he's doing great and everyone loves him! She shared these really cute photos with us too.
Vixey (fka Amelia) was adopted in February 2024. Here is what her adoptive dad has to say about her. She's really enjoying her new life with her forever family!
"We renamed Amelia and her new name is Vixey; this is because she reminds us of a small red fox. In any case, she responds really well to her new name since we started calling her this soon after we adopted her. We have not done any formal dog training other than the training we've done on our other dogs. So far, she is doing extremely well. Vixey is very bonded to me and wants to be with me always, which I love. I am quick to nip any possessive behavior she shows sometimes and she responds well to the corrections. We do crate train her and she has done well with that. We also try to socialize her more often at parks and around people just so that she keeps liking everyone. She does not care much for other dogs but she still occasionally plays with our other dogs at home. We are very happy with Vixey. I am especially happy that we found each other."
