You GOTTA meet sweet girl Valentina!
Valentina was rescued in Ensenada Mexico (baja) along with whom we believe could be her brother, Valentino (an adorable buff orange and white) they are both fostered together at casa de ARWOB since late January and all the vetting has been done so now they are READY for adoption. They do not need to be adopted together but they are a great pair not only adorable both but they compliment each other, the ying to their yang. Different energy level and personality which means if you adopt both you get 2 different kitty personalities which is ALWAYS a great balance.
Valentina is a timid/insecure kitty around humans. A scardy cat who melts in your hands when you pet her. She starts purring and seeking human attention. Once she trusts you she likes staying in your arms for attention, although when first meeting new people she will be scared/shy. At the beginning it was 'iffy' approaching her especially to pick her up as she would get anxious and want to run/get away but she has significantly improved in the short time she has been with us and has no problem being approached BUT for this reason, she may do best in a home with no children who are seeking out the cat too much for attention. An adult house hold is best. She is very easy going around cats and although not exactly interested in dogs, she is not nervous or scared of them, once she knows them. So fas she seems to be a very chilled, easy going quiet kitty who just likes to take it easy. Have not seen her play yet but likely because she is getting adjusted to her new safe happy location and will probably feel comfortable to start playing. She does seem very interested in any automatic toys like the electronic type where a mouse or feather move around. Valentina has excellent litter box manners and is a very healthy kitty, vetted and READY for adoption.
We don't have a cat adoption center or hold adoption events for cats we like to schedule meets where they reside which means we must approve applicants before we schedule to do so, we need to have a submitted adoption application online and schedule a call to make sure it can be approved and move fwd.
