Meet Maria!
This sweet Border terrier mix is just the right amount of sweet and energy. She is the perfect size and did we say a total love bug!
She is great with dogs and all humans, she is terrified of cats especially if they move around her certain way, so its best no cats in the home. Maria is a VERY happy, playful and loving terrier mix who was found on the streets of Tijuana a few months back. Sadly she was limping but when she was rescued by some kind family they never were able to take her to the veterinarian they just offered her a warm home, a warm heart and warm food to get the girl of the streets and off her bad luck while she recovered. When we took Maria in to the group we realized she was limping and took her to our vet, her x-rays revealed a Left femur sprial fracture already healed and nothing we could do for her. She certainly doesn't care she runs with the rest of the pack like nothing and goes up the stairs, she also likes to place her front paws on your hips by standing on her two hind legs! We don't like her to do that (we feel bad for her hind leg) but its a sign that she is happy and if she is not worried about her hind leg we will let her do what she feels comfortable doing. She would love a home who likes to incorporate dogs into part of their family as she is a total sweetheart and very emotional girl who wants to be loved and enjoys being part of the family. She is healthy and ready to go home! If you can't adopt Maria, would you like to adopt her?
However, we are ideally looking for someone with time as she is not house broken and although she has few accidents, she is still a bit of a puppy at heart with chewing things and potty accidents...so even though she is full grown adult, she has never had a family and is not house trained, but does well in the crate or under supervision in the home, just not unsupervised! ha ha
