Meet sweet Marie. She and her 2 pups ended up in the dog pound in Tecate, Mexico sometime in early January. However, her 2 pups didn't make it.
ARWOB was able to rescue Marie and she herself seems to be a young adult dog who still acts like a puppy. She is a sweet, docile, and very active, happy dog. She does great with people and dogs and has not been tested with cats. She is learning how to crate and so far she is doing great in the car and on leash. She will be a great guard dog, but is not a huge barker.
We don't know what breed she is, but she has a long muzzle and, with her brindle coloring, she may have some dutch shepherd and bull terrier. But, she is mostly a small shepherd full grown at about 40 pounds. Her best friend is Canela, as she too was rescued from the Tecate dog pound.
