Meet Nettie – Your New Best Friend!
Looking for a dog who radiates joy and loves everything? Meet Nettie, a sweet, snuggly, and smart pup who’s ready to wiggle her way right into your heart.
Nettie absolutely adores people and other dogs—she’s the kind of pup who lights up every room she enters. She hasn’t officially met any cats yet, but with her playful puppy energy and gentle nature, she’d likely do well with them (even if she might pester them a bit with her enthusiasm!).
She’s already crate trained, and while she hasn’t quite mastered letting you know when she needs to go out, she does great when kept on a consistent schedule and hasn’t had any accidents. Nettie can be a little vocal when first left alone in her crate, but she settles down quickly and is learning more every day.
Despite being a puppy, Nettie is incredibly easygoing. She’s full of love, cuddly when you want snuggles, and energetic when it’s time to play. She’s also super smart and eager to learn—which makes training a breeze!
If you’re looking for a lovable, low-maintenance pup with a big heart and a zest for life, Nettie might be your perfect match. She’s ready to bring laughter, love, and a whole lot of tail wags to her forever home.
ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:
We have until March 24 to find Nettie a foster, adopter, or someone who would like to foster her with the intention of adopting in San Diego or she will go back to Ensenada where her rescuer can continue to foster her.
Nettie is an adorable Baja mutt rescued off the streets of Ensenada, She is currently in San Diego finishing her vetting and is available for adoption now. Nettie is a total sweetheart who is very social and loving with humans, has done well with all dog intros. She is a typical young pup and are looking for fosters or adopters with a work schedule conducive to bringing a puppy home and the time and effort it takes to train. This healthy medium breed is currently 20ish pounds unlikely growing more than 40-55 pounds. If you are ready for a happy go lucky active dog to add to your family and are ready for dog training to have an amazing lifetime friend then Nettie is the dog for you.
We don't hold adoption events, but we can schedule a meet and greet in the 92110 area. Please submit an application online and we can schedule a call to answer any questions/concerns.
