This adorable teenager was rescued from the streets of Baja early October. She was quarantined at the vet (as we do as a precaution for all baja rescues) and now that her boarding time is over she is in San Diego hoping to find a loving foster or adoptive home. She is less than 6 months of age (both upper canine teeth are comming in) and is only 20 pounds hence we believe she will be in the 40-50lbs range full grown. She is a happy, grateful, full of life girl who is social and friendly with dogs, cats and people/children. She may be a little 'puppy crazy' for toddlers or children young than 5yrs but with some puppy training she will settle down once she learns some puppy manners.
She is up to date on her vaccines, spayed and other medical done, she does have a couple of patches from demodex skin mites (not infectious) that are being treated since her immune system dropped once she started to receive vaccines and being spayed but its easily treated and her hair is growing back since she has been under treatment.
NOTE:
This girl looks very much like a lab or hound BUT there are people who could confuse her with a pit mix (she has very small paws and body frame, not much musculature for one of the awesome pit mix) because of this we recommend if you live in a home with breed restrictions that you don't adopt Phoebe to eliminate any potential future problems, although all her medical records state she is a lab mix. We are looking for a FOREVER family and that means someone will not return her because of a silly "breed" resemblance.
Don't wait...Submit an adoption application today!
