To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Poppy!

This beautiful girl was rescued as a stray on the streets of Tijuana where cats do not have much of a chance of surviving on their own. We are so happy that we have her with us so that she can find the forever home of her dreams

shebhas been the happiest when in a foster home where sheis more relaxed and receives love and attention which bolster her confidence.

Her foster mom has this to share: "Poppy is a sweet girl with gorgeous blue eyes, soft fur and a gentle personality. She is shy, but should learn to trust and relax more once she is in her forever home. She likes to be with us and does love playing with other cats. She LOVES to play with toy mice and foam balls, but, recently her favorite toys seem to be ping pong balls. She makes them roll on the floor, then chases and carries them!

Poppy would be happiest in a semi-quiet home with another non aggressive cat or kitten. She LOVES to be petted, hang out with people, play hide and seek with other cats, and take naps in the window perch."

Her foster mom has this recent update: "Poppy is a GORGEOUS sweetie pie! I love that she is a little cross-eyed.. adorable! :) Her eyes are an amazing deep blue and her tricolor markings are really beautiful and unique. She is a little timid at first in a new situation but once she feels safe, she is super affectionate and interactive. Poppy loves to play play play and LOVES to be petted and petted and petted :) She especially loves her cheeks and chin rubbed. She is really playful and is a little huntress. Poppy loves to stalk, wiggle her little butt, and pounce on toys, then roll and flop around on her back :) She would be great in a home with another playful cat. She is seeking a calm, loving, home environment that makes her feel safe.. a change from the streets of Tijuana she was rescued from. "
